Our country's excellence and justice are a rare exception and the greatest mistake we can make is thinking that we are immune to the downfalls of the great democracies of the past. Ronald Reagan said that freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction, and we should heed that every day. To all the astro-turfers and highly funded small town mobsters: keep the pressure on and don't forget how close we exist to the brink. The just democracies of our world have been few and fleeting.
