Domestic spying: non-issue or real threat?

According to Matthew Aid, an intelligence historian and fellow at the National Security Archives at the George Washington University, we should be paying real attention to this issue:

“There’s virtually no branch of the U.S. government that isn’t in some way involved in monitoring or surveillance. We’re operating in a brave new world.” (source)

A reminder indeed, that personal privacy is a cause that urgently needs to be addressed and defended. So spread the word about FlagOff and other initiatives! (and sign the petition if you haven’t already :-) )
